Depending on your interaction with us, we may collect:

  • Relationship and communication records: enquiries, correspondence, call or meeting notes, introduction requests, proposals, feedback, support requests and records of our professional engagement.
  • Commercial and transaction information: contracts, invoices, payment status and relevant billing or tax information. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers, and we do not ordinarily retain complete card or banking credentials.
  • Event and media information: attendance, dietary or accessibility requirements where voluntarily provided, and photographs, recordings or testimonials where you have been informed or have provided consent as required.
  • Website and technical information: IP address, browser, device, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, timestamps, approximate location, cookie identifiers, campaign source and similar usage information.

Please do not submit sensitive personal data unless we specifically request it for a lawful and necessary purpose. We do not request sensitive personal data through LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms.

5. LinkedIn and Other Lead Generation Forms

When you submit an expression of interest or other form through LinkedIn or another platform, the platform may provide the submitted information to Unicorn Next. We use that information for the purposes stated on the form, including responding to your enquiry, assessing programme or partnership fit, arranging a suitability discussion and sharing relevant information.

Your use of the platform is also governed by that platform’s privacy terms. Submitting a form does not guarantee selection, participation, funding, investment, a meeting, a partnership, or any commercial outcome.

6. Artificial Intelligence and Assisted Processing

We may use appropriately selected digital and artificial-intelligence-enabled tools to support research, organisation, analysis, drafting, communication and programme operations. Where such tools process personal data, we seek to limit the information shared, restrict access and use service providers with suitable contractual and security safeguards.

We do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing. Material programme-selection and relationship decisions remain subject to human review.

7. How We Share Personal Data

We may share personal data only where reasonably necessary with:

  • authorised members of the Unicorn Next team;
  • technology, website, hosting, cloud, email, CRM, analytics, communication, payment, event, professional and administrative service providers acting on our behalf;

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not permit a programme or ecosystem partner to use information obtained from us for unrelated independent marketing without an appropriate lawful basis.

Unicorn Next operates across India and selected global markets and corridors. Personal data may therefore be processed in India, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Canada, Australia or other locations relevant to a programme, partner or service provider.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, our continuing relationship with you, and applicable legal, accounting, tax, contractual and dispute-resolution requirements.

Enquiry and non-selected applicant information is generally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer period is required by law, an active relationship continues, or you consent to continued communication. We may retain participant, client, partner, payment, and contractual records longer where necessary to fulfil legal or legitimate business obligations.

When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete, anonymise or securely archive it. We may retain limited suppression records to respect an opt-out request.
